[Is she... threatening him? Cade abruptly feels very nervous, as though he's being caught in a lie, even though as far as he knows he isn't lying.]

I-.... [He hesitates, and she can likely almost hear his heart stop.] I don't know. I think there were Dalish involved, but I don't... I don't know. [He doesn't know any of the mages, and his only indication that the Dalish know anything is that Nari spoke to him about it.]

[If the question had come from a superior officer, when Cade was a Templar, he would have caved instantly. But things are different now, and he has so few people to trust, and now a total stranger is asking for their names. He never thought he'd be one to stand up for the Dalish, but... this isn't about the Dalish. It's about Beleth, and Nahariel, who have never shown him anything but kindness.

[ She's pretty skeptical about Cade's answer, but it doesn't seem worth it to press the problem. Not when there's like. Ten Dalish in the Inquisition. Maybe less. It'll probably be more worthwhile to just go bother them directly. ]

Anyway, thanks for sharing. Hopefully, we'll get to the bottom of this. And hopefully, it's not some off the wall blood mage, because Maker's ass do I not want to tango with that kind of can of crazy.
